Torn

 

I was unclean
disheveled

outside the camp
alone

when Jesus
called my name

and made
forgiveness known.

Atonement

 

My High Priest
has made atonement

on the altar
of the cross

His blood shed
for my sins

forgiven
at His cost.

I Do Not Change

 

I am the Lord
unchanging

My mercy
never ends

come
and be forgiven

trust Me and My
commands.

I will not keep

letting forgiveness
inside.

I have
delivered you

so you can
be sent

to turn others
from darkness

to forgiveness
of sin.

such as forgiveness
for your sins

as others you also
forgive.

You establish Yourself as my Daily Bread.

“Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.” Luke 11:3,4 NKJV

Arise And Walk

 

I am forgiven
I am healed

You have the power
Your heart’s revealed.

I’ve been forgiven
I’ve been healed

no longer can Truth
be concealed.

My forgiveness and healing is established by You.

“For which is easier , to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you’, or to say, ‘Arise and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins – then He said to the paralytic, ‘Arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.’ And he arose and departed to his house.” Matthew 9:5,6,7 NKJV

As White As Snow

 

Come now and let us
reason together
so you learn to do good
and plead for the widow

though your sins are like scarlet
I will forgive you
and they shall be made
just as white as the snow.

Jesus establishes willingness.

“Learn to do good; seek justice, reprove the oppressor; defend the fatherless, plead for the widow. “Come now, and let us reason together”, says the LORD, “though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land . . .” Isaiah 1:17,18,19 NKJV

Confessing

 

Do not try
to cover your sins
but come and
bring them to Me

turning away
from whatever it is
finding forgiveness
and mercy.

A laid down life confesses sin.

“He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.” Proverbs 28:13 NKJV
