Abba Father

In the fullness of time
God sent forth His Son

that we might become
sons and daughters

redeemed from the law
with His Soirit in our hearts

we cry out to Him
‘Abba, Abba Father’.

**********

You are with me and adopt me as Your own.

**********

“But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law , to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.”

“And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, ‘Abba Father!'”

“Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.”

Galatians 4:4,5,6,7. NKJV

Bring Him Back

220px-Rumunia_5806

“And Reuben said to them, ‘Shed no blood, but cast him into this pit which is in the wilderness, and do not lay a hand on him’ – that he might deliver him out of their hands and bring him back to his father.”  Genesis 37:22 NKJV

Reuben didn’t let envy and hatred take over , but thought about his father.

Thank You, Lord, for helping us with our emotions so that we can see Your heart in each situation.  And here is a simple poem . . .

I might get
envious, angry
bitter, selfish
and sad

but at the end
of myself
all I want is You
to be glad.

God bless you  as you desire to please Him today!

Into Your Hands

“And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, ‘ Father, into Your hands I commend My spirit.’ And having said this, He breathed His last.” Luke 23:46 NKJV

The thought of being in His sure hands comforts me.

Thank You, Lord, for holding us close.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Father, into Your hands
I also commend my spirit

there to stay
forevermore

outside of Your hold
are death and torment

only You create life
worth dying and living for.

God bless you as He holds you today!

Inside Israel – A Day Of Memory

Hi and thank you for coming by for a look inside Israel.  Today J of Jerusalem brings us a letter and an opportunity for us to respond and be a comfort to a Israeli father. God bless you as you  read and pray! Now here’s J . . .

Greetings brothers and sisters-
I just went to view the 5:00 news, but even though it does not officially begin until 8pm memorial day ‘events’ have begun and that includes the end of regular broadcasts.  Instead the list of NAMES of those fallen defending the country has begun…defending both in the armed services but also victims of terror…defending by ‘standing’ where we are planted.  It is a very emotional time and I have written about it 17 times before, but today I want to give deference to a letter sent by a dear friend who has had a very special calling: to stand with the families of missing in action, prisoners of war and families of victims of terror.  She sent this letter today and I wish to share it with you.  PLEASE, if you are moved…please do write to Michael and strengthen his hands.  Thank you.  (this is a translation, however you may write to Michael in English with no problem)
________________________________________________
“When I saw those faces in court……..thése faces were the last faces Asher had seen before the big stone hit his head and he died…..”

Michael Palmer the father of Asher and saba/opa (Grandfather) of Yonathan, tells the story and I get goose pimpels…….

In the courthearing the murderers hugged each other, shook hands and behaved like théy were the victims, in the first hearing I was there alone to defend my son and grandson.

Asher and Puah were happely married and had a wonderful little boy Yonathan, 1and 1/2 years old, Puah was pregnant with their second baby. ( foto )

Puah is a nurse and was working in a Jerusalem hospital, after work she went to her parents in Jerusalem to wait for Asher.”

Asher was on his way by car from Hebron to Jerusalem with little Yonathan, to meet them.

The 5 terrorists had trained for weeks……….and when Asher drove around the corner with little Yonathan in his carseat, they saw by the Israeli number plate he was a Jew and new that he was their target.

When Asher and Yonathan did not arrive in Jerusalem, Puah tried to call and waited and waited but: no answer.

She became worried and thén the police knocked on the door by her parents………
Her beloved Asher and her mottek Yonathan were murdered.

First police said it was an accident, but very soon it became clear :
it was an other brutal terror attack.

Michael has been to the court hearing again last week ( youtube) and an other one will be scheduled for the 3 rd of June, everybody is invited.
It is almost unbearable to see the murderers laughing and shouting to their families………….but Michael keeps his focus on Asher who loved Am Israel and
“what Asher wanted to do won’t happen, but I want to make something happen like what he wanted. I keep in mind Asher. He had courage, he got strength from what he was able to do”.

In January, Puah delivered their little baby girl Orit, born four months after her father and brother, two blameless souls, were murdered by people who didn’t know them and had never seen them before, murdered simply because they were Jews living in the Land of Israel. Asher had picked the name “Orit” before he died. He hadn’t realized the significance the name would have. In Hebrew, it is אורית. The first letter and third letter join her to her father through the letters of his name, אשר, the other three letters join her to her murdered one year old brother, יונתן, through his name.

If you want to write to Michael to encourage him :

mcpfiveone@gmail.com

if you and others want to be a Blessing……do write this father, who lost his son and grandson, ‘comfort comfort ye MY people’……
