Seeing, Hearing, Knowing

 

I see
your oppression

and I hear
your cries

thus I know
your sorrows

and that your deliverance
is nigh.

be sent

to turn others
from darkness

to forgiveness
of sin.

No Other

 

No other God
can deliver

is true

can save us

no other God
but You.

“Therefore I make a decree that any people, nation, or language which speaks anything amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego shall be cut in pieces and their houses shall be made an ash heap; because there is no other God who can deliver like this.” Daniel 3:29 NKJV

On A Dark Day

 

I will seek you out
and deliver you

Pfrom all your dark
places

for I feed My flock
and make them lie down

showering blessings upon
their faces.

You establish Yourself as My Good Shepherd.

” ‘I will search for My sheep and seek them out . . .so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down’, says the Lord GOD. ‘I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick. . .I will make them and all the places around them, My hill, a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there will be showers of blessing.’ ” Ezekiel 34:11,15,16,26 NKJV

Abide

 

Stay and
abide with Me

here in this place
I’ve given

do not be afraid
for I’m with you to save

and My mercy is real
and living.

You establish where I abide.

” ‘If you will still abide in this land, then I will build you and not pull you down, and I will plant you and not pluck you up. Do not be afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom you are afraid; do not be afraid of him,’ says the LORD, ‘for I am with you, to save you and deliver you from his hand. And I will show you mercy, that he may have mercy on you and cause you to return to your own land.’ ” Jeremiah 42:10,11,12 NKJV

A Prize

 

I will deliver you
out of the hand

of all that
you fear

and your life will be
a prize to you

as you trust that I
am near.

You establish my trust in You.

” ‘But I will deliver you in that day,’ says the LORD, ‘and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid. For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword, but your life shall be as a prize to you, because you put your trust in Me,’ says the LORD.” Jeremiah 39:17 NKJV

Choices

 

I will give you
every chance
to hear
what I say

to turn away
from what is wrong
and walk
in My ways.

You establish choices for me.

“Execute judgement and righteousness, and deliver the plundered out of the hand of the oppressor. Do no wrong and do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, nor shed innocent blood in this place. For if you indeed do this thing, then shall enter the gates of this house, riding on horses and on chariots, accompanied by servants and people, kings who sit on the throne of David.” Jeremiah 22:3,4 NKJV

With You

 

I am with you
to deliver you

don’t be afraid
of what you face

for I have known you
before you were born

and My word in you
I’ve placed.

You establish my deliverance.

“‘Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you,’ says the LORD. Then the LORD put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the LORD said to me: ‘Behold I have put My words in your mouth.’ ” Jeremiah 1:5,7,8,9 NKJV

Soul Care

 

I am your portion
and refuge forever
though you’ve been brought low
I will care for your soul

delivering you out from
unjust persecution
surrounding you with gladness
My bounty will flow.

A laid down life has a cared for soul.

“I declare before Him my trouble. For there is no one who acknowledges me; refuge has failed me; no one cares for my soul. I cried out to You, O LORD; I said, ‘You are my refuge, my portion in the land of the living.’ Attend to my cry, for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors. Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise Your name; the righteous shall surround me, for You shall deal bountifully with me.” Psalm 142:2,4,5,6,7. NKJV
