Called Out Of Darkness

 

Once we knew
not mercy

and walked in the darkest
night

but now we too are
God’s people

called into His marvelous
light.

Darkness And Light

 

I go
before you

and I stand
behind

confusing
your enemies

while for you
I shine.

The One who goes before and stands behind is with me.

Of The Day

 

We are not
in spiritual darkness

but sons of light
daughters of day

wearing our breastplates
of faith and love

with the confident hope
of the saved.

A Light

revealing counsels
of the hearts

being the One
who praises.

Only by Your help

give witness

bringing light into
our darkness.

A Great Light

 

Help has come
we have a Savior

for unto us
Christ was born

bringing light to
our current darkness

and forever hope
each new dawn.

Life Begins As A Love Story

 

You hover
over the water

speaking forth light
land and beasts

but gather together
in loving communion

to create us
from Your Trinity.

You establish us by Your love.

Brightness

 

The brightness
of My Presence

will outshine
your darkest day

like a rainbow
above the firmament

My glory
will make a way.

Your brightness is established in my life.

Arise and shine
for I have come
to awaken you
to what’s true

from the darkness
into My light
glory covers
all I do.

You establish my glory.
