No Condemnation

Though we make
a mess of things

and must work through
what we’ve done

You still do not
condemn those

in Jesus Christ
Your Son.

***********

There is no condemnation for You are with me.

**********

“Therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed [happy, fortunate, to be envied] are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless unbroken companionship]! ” Isaiah 30:18 AMP

“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:14-17 NKJV

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.” Romans 8:1-2. NKJV

He Has Done It

I am not silent
when they accuse
and speak lies
to condemn you

for My mercy says
“you’re already saved”
and all will see
of what you’re made.

A laid down life is safe from condemnation.

“Do not keep silent, O God of my praise! They have spoken against me with a lying tongue. They have also surrounded me with words of hatred, but I give myself to prayer. Help me, O LORD my God! Oh, save me according to Your mercy, that they may know that this is Your hand – that You, Lord, have done it!” Psalm 109:1,2,3,4,26,27 NKJV

No Condemnation

“David’s heart condemned him for he had numbered the people.”  2 Samuel 24:10

Our hearts may condemn us, but Jesus does not.

Thank You Lord, for the conviction of the Holy Spirit that leads us to repentance.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Our Diffuser

Condemnation sits
shockingly heavy
blocking the light
and all hope of the truth

til Jesus comes
then it trembles and crumbles
as He offers forgiveness
and a peace we can trust.
