Conceived

 

Zechariah
and Elizabeth

were way
past their prime

when God answered
their prayers

in His
perfect time.

I’ll Take Away Your Reproach

 

I have
looked upon you

to take away your
reproach

and what was barren
will now bring forth

in joy and in Me
boast.

You establish what I bring forth.

“Now after those days his wife Elizabeth conceived ; and she hid herself five months, saying ‘Thus the LORD has dealt with me, in the days when He looked on me, to take away my reproach among men’ ” Luke 1:24,25 NKJV

Of The Holy Spirit

“But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, ‘Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.’ ” Matthew 1:20 NKJV

Mary being with child before their wedding did not seem good or right to Joseph, at first.

Thank You, Lord, for all You are growing in my life today.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Oh let me not
be afraid
or ashamed
or think it strange

what You
have conceived
in me
to bring forth change.

God bless all that He has conceived in you!

Conceived

“Joseph, Son of David, do not be afraid to take to you, Mary, your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”  Matthew 1:20

The Holy Spirit desires to birth something in each of us.

Lord Jesus, please help us to embrace what You have put inside us to do and to be.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

The Birthing Process

Our ideas may not seem like much
our plans may be put down
but if God has placed them in us
they will come out anyhow.
