Draw Near

 

I will draw you
close to Me

as near as you
can be

for that’s the
very best place

for you to hear
from Me.

You establish my nearness to You.

“Then all the tax collectors and sinners drew near to Him to hear Him.” Luke 15:1 NKJV

So Close

“From that time Jesus began to preach and say, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.'”  Matthew 4:17

The kingdom of heaven is so beyond anything this world has to offer.

Thank You, Lord, for being just a turn away from us at all times.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Our magnificent God
and His kingdom of heaven

are oh so
very near

waiting to be
revealed to us

as soon as repentance
appears.
