Called Out Of Darkness

 

Once we knew
not mercy

and walked in the darkest
night

but now we too are
God’s people

called into His marvelous
light.

“who once were not a people, but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.”

Come To The Wedding

 

You’re My beloved
My called out
My chosen
My blessed

you’re what I’ve
dreamed of
My delight and
happiness.

You establish me as Your bride.

“See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding. For many are called , but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:4,14 NKJV

My Called

 

War will be made
against Me

but I will
overcome

and those with Me
are My called

My faithful
chosen ones.

Jesus establishes my faithfulness.

“These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful. “. Revelation 17:14 NKJV

Desired

 

Just as I
chose Zion
now I also
desire you

to be clothed in My
salvation and joy
that will show through
all you do.

A laid down life is desired by God.

“For Your servant David’s sake, do not turn away the face of Your Anointed. For the LORD has chosen Zion; He has desired it for His habitation : ‘This is My resting place forever; here I will dwell, for I have desired it’. I will also clothe her priests with salvation, and her saints shall shout aloud for joy.” Psalm 132:10,13,14,16 NKJV

“For you will be His witness to all men of what you have seen and heard.”  Acts 22:15 NKJV

He chose us too.

Thank You, Lord, for letting us see You and hear You and know Your will. And here’s a simple poem . . .

There are reasons
beyond salvation
for why He chose us
to be His

for we will know Him
hear and see Him
and become
His witnesses.

Chosen and Faithful

I am thinking about God choosing me vs. just me choosing Him.
