For Whoever Steps In

“For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had.”  John 5:4

How heartbreaking it must’ve been to be beside this pool but never able to enter in.

Thank You, Lord, for unlimited access to Your healing waters.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Enter into
my living water

if you desire
to be made well

stirred constantly
by My Spirit

healing is
perpetual.

God bless you as you enter in today.

Lying There

“When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, ‘Do you want to be made well’?” John 5:6

I’ve been here at this question for several days. In tears.

Jesus, thank You for asking us the questions no one else knows to ask. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Pool Side

By my pool
of Bethesda
the waters stir
I don’t jump in.
Am I waiting
to be carried
or to be healed
by only Him?
