Life Begins As A Love Story

 

You hover
over the water

speaking forth light
land and beasts

but gather together
in loving communion

to create us
from Your Trinity.

You establish us by Your love.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.
Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. Then He separated the light from the darkness. God called the light ‘day’ and the darkness ‘night’ . . .
God said, ‘Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.’ “

“So God created human beings in His own image.
In the image of God He created them;
male and female He created them.”

It Is Advent: Come

 

Out of the stump
a shoot will grow

yes, a new Branch
bearing fruit will come

with the Spirit of the Lord
fully upon Him

and salvation for all
yes, for every one.

You establish a new Branch.

“Out of the stump of David’s family will grow a shoot –
yes, a new Branch bearing fruit from the old root.
And the Soirit of the LORD will rest on Him –
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Soirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD . . .”

“In that day the heir to David’s throne
will be a banner of salvation to all the world.
The nations will rally to Him,
and the land where He lives will be a glorious
place.”

Isaiah 11:1-2,10
