Remember

In your anguish
remember
My wonders
and My works

talk of My deeds
and soon see
your despair
forsook.

A laid down life remembers God’s wonders and works.

“And I said, ‘This is my anguish; but I will remember the years of the right hand of the Most High.’ I will remember the works of the Lord, surely I will remember Your wonders of old. I will also meditate on all Your work, and talk of Your deeds.” Psalm 77:10-12 NKJV

My Anguish

“Has God forgotten to be gracious?
Has He in anger shut up His tender mercies?

And I said,  ‘This is my anguish.’
But I will remember the years of the
right hand of the Most High,
I will remember the works of the Lord;
Surely I will remember Your wonders
of old.”    Psalms 77:9-10

I injured my leg awhile back and found it hard to not think about the pain.

Lord, please help us remember in the midst of our painful situations that You have not changed.  And here is a simple poem . . .

I Will Remember

This is just my anguish
this is just my pain

You are still the Lord God
You are still the same

great is Your faithfulness
great is Your name

this is just my anguish
You have not changed.
