A Cup

“For in the hand of the Lord there is a cup,
And the wine is red;
It is fully mixed, and He pours it out . . .”  Psalms 73:8

I keep thinking of Jesus asking His Father to please take this cup from Him.
(saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:42)

Lord, may each of us be willing to take the cup You hand to us.  And here’s a simple poem . . .
