The Least Of These

 

As you have done
for the least of these
so you have done
to Me

and you will inherit
the kingdom
I’ve prepared for you
faithfully.

You establish my care of others.

“Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. Assuredly I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.” Matthew 25:34,40 NKJV

Watch

 

Watch
and be faithful

for indeed
I will come

in the clouds
with a trumpet

don’t be fooled by
any one.

You establish my watchfulness .

“For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with the great sound of a trumpet , and they will gather together His elect.” Matthew 24:27,30,31 NKJV

The Inside

 

I will cleanse you
on the inside

so that you’re
pure as snow

and on the outside
it will be

a beautiful
overflow.

You establish me inside and out.

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. Blind Pharisees, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also.” Matthew 23:25,26 NKJV

Come To The Wedding

 

You’re My beloved
My called out
My chosen
My blessed

you’re what I’ve
dreamed of
My delight and
happiness.

You establish me as Your bride.

“See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding. For many are called , but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:4,14 NKJV

This Is Jesus

 

I am Jesus
I am He

who opens eyes
so they can see

who heals what’s broken
mends what’s lame

Hosanna – Blessed
praises proclaim.

You establish who You are to me.

“Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD! Hosanna in the highest! And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying ,’Who is this?’ So the multitudes said, ‘This is Jesus’. Then the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple and He healed them.” Matthew 21:9,10,11,14

Serving

 

Don’t worry
if you’re serving

and not
being served

for that is how
I came to you

and it is of
great worth.

My ability to serve others is established by You.

“You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and those who are great exercise authority over them. Yet it shall not be so among you, but whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave – just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:25,26,27,28 NKJV

Leaving Behind

 

Leave behind the weight
of your possessions

the burden of what
loved ones think

follow Me
and enter into

the kingdom life
and all it brings.

You establish who I follow.

“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundred fold, and inherit eternal life.” Matthew 19:29 NKJV

Like This Child

 

I will change you
by My Spirit

to be like
the little ones

trusting, humble
forgiving

great
in My Kingdom.

You establish my worth to You.

“Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 18:4 NKJV

How It Will Be

 

See how I told you
what would happen
how I would suffer
how it would be

so don’t be afraid
of what you see now
for I will comfort
you with Me.

You establish what will happen.

“When they were gathered together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, ‘The Son of Man is going to be betrayed and handed over to men; [who are His enemies] and they will kill Him and He will be raised [from death to life] on the third day.’ And they were deeply grieved and distressed.” Matthew 17:22,23 AMP

Mindful

 

I will teach you
to be mindful
of these things
the way I am

to see deeper
and look further
than the surface
and understand.

You establish my mindfulness of You.

“But He turned and said to Peter, ‘Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.'” Matthew 16:23 NKJV
