Pour It On

“And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper,
a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table.
But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, ‘To what purpose is this waste?'”  Matthew 26:6-8

For some reason, I thought it was the scribes and Pharisees who were indignant. . .not His own disciples.

Thank You, Lord, for this woman and all those who pour out extravagant costly love upon You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

What good is
what I treasure

if I keep it
apart from You?

Let me pour out
my heart, my love

all my hands hold
unto You.

God bless you as you pour out your love on Him today!
