Specks and Planks

“Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck out of your eye; and look, a plank is in your own eye?’ ”  Matthew 7:4 NKJV

I think everyone knows when they have a speck of something in their eye and often simple tears will wash it out.

Thank You, Lord, for Your Holy Spirit that convicts and helps remove specks and planks.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

I think that I should help someone
but I can’t even see
for this plank in my eye
is sorely blocking me.

I’m going to need Your help, Lord
to pull this board on out
and stay mindful of my own specks
instead of looking about.

God bless you as He helps you see all you need to see today!
