Someone To Care

“Look on my right hand and see,
For there is no one who
acknowledges me;
Refuge has failed me;
No one cares for my soul.”  Psalm 142:4

David was running for His life and hiding out in caves.

Lord, thank You for sending people who cared about my soul when I was running from life and hiding in caves of addiction.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

He Cares

We know that You
are with us

and that
You’ll never leave

but also
understand about

our basic
human needs.

  2. Although I was never in the cave of addiction as many have been, I am still thankful for the mercy and love of Jesus that saved a sinner like me.

  3. The wonderful grace and blessing of caring friends can only be outweighed by the grace of a caring Lord who is with us no matter where we may be in life. Thank you for the encouraging words Deb.

  8. “..but also

    By adding this at the end, you made me think of El Shaddai or the God Who Is More Than Enough. Kenneth Hagin coined the phrase and it’s one of my favorites.

    Drum roll, please. bddddbdddbddd. Okay, your score as calculated by the experts at Funk and Wagnalls is a certified 10. So, run outside with Aub and do a May Dance, complete with pole and ribbons. Also, don’t forget chocolate donuts with butter.

  9. Thank you for reminding us that He cares about the every day things; Blessings!

  10. What a sweet comfort your words are today, Debbie. Often it’s just the “basic human needs” that I crave to believe He sees and cares about. And sure enough He does!
