The Lord Reigns

“Say among the nations, ‘The LORD reigns’ . . .”  Psalm 96:10

Wouldn’t that be a great way to start an international meeting?

Lord, may the same comfort I find in knowing You reign over the nations remain as I consider You also reign over me.   And here’s a simple poem . . .

Lord, You reign
over the nations

over the mountains
and the seas

and all
this vastness

includes us

  1. For some it is easier to see Him reign over all creation. For others it is easier for them to see He reigns over us. When we see God as Majestic, we can see He reigns over all (big and small).

  2. Hallelujah! I am so glad He reigns… There is such power when we proclaim that it is He who reigns over our lives… It is Christ who reigns over our families… It is the God of all creation who reigns over our cities, our towns, our states, our country, the nations, and the universe! Praise God, Sis Deb, your scripture and your simple poem placed this joyful song in my heart:

  3. Reblogged this on My Delight and My Counsellors.

  4. All praise to our God who reigns over all! Thanks Deb!

  5. It sure would be a great way to start an international meeting. Oh I cannot wait for the day to come when all our United NAtions meeting open with praise to Jesus the King of Nations!

  6. Yes, he does and I’m so glad that I know this!!

  7. The Lord reigns. Period. Those three words give me peace all the time.

    one day, maybe soon . . .
one day, maybe VERY soon . . .
every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Christ is King: that He does indeed reign over all.

    Reign in me, Lord Jesus.
Reign in me, that others may see YOU: that others may see You and come to know You as LORD!

    We are one day closer!

  33. Loved your comment, mentor Angela and praying for His reign in me too, so others may see Him. God bless you, this day, which is one day closer!
