Remembered Still

“They have said, ‘Come, and let us
cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be
remembered no more’.”  Psalms 83:4

January 27th was National Holocaust Day.

Lord, we thank You for Your nation Israel and all the promises You uphold.  And here is a simple poem . . .

Stayed

Many will come
against you

seeking to pull
you down

but what I promise
I uphold

they will fade
you will stay sound.

  1. Oh, I love this one, Sis Deb–the strength in the voice and words of God, that what He promises, He will uphold. There’s no “maybe” in it–it’s a done deal. Very reassuring that we can count on His promises! God bless you with an overflow of His Holy Spirit, as you serve and work for Him today–love you, sis Caddorino

  2. they will fade
    you will stay sound.

Psalm 83 doesn’t look like it’s too far away from being fulfilled, Debbie … if so, the surrounding enemies are in for the shock of their lives/deaths. “Stayed” indeed! Much to pay about, many to pray for. God bless.

  3. “They will fade, you will stay sound”.. Our God, ever so strong, firm and unshaken… One who holds onto his promises and will surely make it come to pass. This is beautiful Debbie!

  4. The world has always opposed the people of God. But by HIs grace, His people will always be victorious. Lord bless.

  5. A excellent word for us all today and every day.

  6. If we checked back through the family tree of every Christian who has ever lived, we would find it would lead to a Jew…one of the original one hundred and twenty believers who gathered together in one place when the tongues of fire fell on the first Pentecost.

Thank You Lord for Israel, Your first evangelists of the gospel we now believe in. We bless them and pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

  7. Thank you for always reminding us of the importance of supporting Israel and the truth that they will always be God’s chosen people along with all who believe in Christ. Peace, Linda
