“And now, LORD, what do I wait for?
My hope is in You.”  Psalms 39:

And our Hope does not disappoint us.

Lord, thank You for being with us now and being what we wait for.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

My Hope Is You

I will not wait on                                      images
something other

something that
is untrue

for all my hope
is in Jesus

in Who He is
and what He’ll do.

  1. Oh this is wonderful, Sis Deb! He’s both our Hope and our Now!! God bless you as you work for Him–praying for a full tank of HS power!! Love you lots–your sis Caddo

  2. What a glorious biblical word ‘hope’ is, Debbie … confident expectation! The world hopes with fingers crossed; wishes and maybes. Not so, the Christian. It’s gonna happen – the Hope of glory says so. Bless you.

  3. Hallelujah! Every time I read the words the Lord has given you, it puts a song into my heart! Thank you for your faithfulness to share His word. I truly look forward to the joy of reading what He has placed in your heart to share with us. This song just leaped into my spirit when I began to read these words of hope:

  4. Hope keeps the heart breathing.

  5. Good morning Debbie, and how true,we have no need to worry no matter what’s going on all around us,our “Hope” is in an all knowing, all wise God. He is still in total control “Hallelujah”!!
    Love you 😀 😀

  6. “And our Hope does not disappoint us.” I can say no more…. Lord bless you. Great poem.

  7. Hope is the one thing people need in this world. when people see no hope they see no reason to go on. That is why Jesus came because He is HOPE..AMEN

  8. Hi sister Debbie; Thank you for this wonderful post. Blessings Bro pat 🙂

  9. This is beautiful! I have an angel tree ornament that says “Hope” on it. It is one of my favorites…

When I read it, I was reminded of a song we oldsters sang years ago. The rest of you kids might even like it.
