We Will Remember

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses;
But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”  Psalm 20:7

Some trust in the current administration and some trust in a new administration.

Lord, help us remember the name of the One we can truly trust.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Trusting

At times
it’s hard not to
hang onto people
places, things

but He helps us
to remember
His name is Lord
and King of Kings.

  12. Debbie, I completely agree with you on this. Whatever country we live in or whoever leads it is secondary, as God is still on the throne. He is able to speak or work through anyone… including Balaam’s donkey.
    Blessings ~ Wendy

  13. Psalm 20 is our current memory project. It is such a beautiful reminder of the spiritual protection and care we are able to access in Christ–even when we may be physically in serious danger–and even when we are tempted to look to some sort of temporal safety net.

    Your poem is a lovely reflection of this truth.
