“Uphold my steps in Your paths,
That my footsteps may not slip.”  Psalm 17:5

He is always up to holding us and holding us up!

Lord, thank You for such a path as this that You set before us, well lit, secure and firm.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Path of Grace

When my steps
start to slide
set down in
a slippery place

there You are
to catch me up
and put me back
on Your path of grace.

  1. Oh this is Wonderful, Sis Deb!! I love HIS faithfulness to catch us up when we begin to slide–and I so love His path of grace–sounds like a poem, right there!! God bless you on Thankful Thursday, as you go about His work for you–blessings of strength and peace, and His Joy, of course. love you lots, sis Caddo Delight

  2. Between the Psalm, the poem and the picture, Debbie, you’ve thrown new light for me tonight on the joy of what it means to “Follow Me.” Thanks and bless you.

  3. I rely on that step of grace daily. Without it I have nothing and nowhere to go and no One to lead. Thanks Deb. Have a great day.

  4. Grace is so easily forgotten in our daily hustle and bustle, but Praise God, the Lord has His ways of reminding us our need for it. As you said:

    “there You are
    to catch me up
    and put me back
    on Your path of grace.”

Great reminder about grace from Psalms.

  5. The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the LORD

  6. Amen! Absolutely slipping and sliding without Him!
    Blessings ~ Wendy

  7. “there You are
    to catch me up
    and put me back
    on Your path of grace”

  8. He is always there beside me (and IN me)

    What an amazing God!
