“For how can I endure to see the evil that will come to my people? Or how can I endure to see the destruction of my kindred?” Esther 8:6
May my heart be as broken as Esther’s for my people.
Lord, let me not grow apathetic to the evil and destruction around me. And here’s a simple poem . . .
Asking
How could we endure
the loss of our loved ones
or of this nation
coming more and more undone
but for the hope of mercy
we cry out and ask You
by the power of Your Spirit
may many more yet come.
Wow, that really makes it more personal, Sis Deb–beautiful and so well done! And I really love the photo too. God bless you and your wonderful open heart for Him–much love, sis Caddo
Lord, may I have a vision of the eternal future of every person I meet. May I have a heartfelt urgency to tell them of Your love and warn them of their destiny without You! May I depend ONLY on Your words and actions, for nothing I can say or do – of myself – can help. What a privilege to be Your messenger!
What an amazing God!
We are one day closer!
Jesus endured the cross and we can endure as well..AMEN
Love you and your love and desire to let others know He is real and there is joy in Jesus! God bless you as you ask Him to draw others to Himself today, Sis Caddo Delight!
Mentor Angela …I love your prayer and am praying it now. To have a vision of the eternal future of every person I meet will definitely keep it personal and keep me praying. God bless you, His messenger and beloved one!
Thank you, dear Desiray, for putting it that way. I know He will help us! God bless you as you reach out today to everyone He brings your way!
I am guilty of such apathy. May God put it on all of our hearts to cry out, and seek justice for those that suffer, and who don’t know Him yet.
I am guilty of that too, sweet Ali. Trusting He will remind us and keep our hearts stirred for those that are facing evil today! God bless you and your close walk with Jesus!
In the world today… it is very difficult for a Christian to see what is taking place and not grieve and mourn. Sad part is for the most part we have allowed everythying we see ot take place.
Oh, that is true and truly sad, Pastor Rob. Thank you for your insight and help here, and God bless you as you care and carry His Word to others!
