Everlasting Good

“Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace,

comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.”  2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

He Who loves us gives to us like no other.

Thank You, Lord, for everlasting consolation and good hope, for comforting and establishing us in You.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

There is everlasting

and good hope
by grace

when Jesus Christ
our Lord forever

and our God and Father
in us is placed.

  1. loved it!!1

  2. This is so so so so wonderful, Sis Deb–everlasting consolation, “good” hope, and grace–what a bounty of blessings and promise–I’ll take it!! Thank you Lord! Praying for you and Aubie, and sending lots of love–sis Caddo

  3. Thanks Deb, His hope and consolation is full! Blessings!

  4. I’m not sure why but I love the title – Placement. It is so fitting!

  5. This is a great post! Good hope and everlasting consolation…I am so glad.

  6. Deb, Your statement, “He Who loves us gives to us like no other.”, reminded me of Rom 8:31-32…

    31) What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?
    32) He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

    Great posting. Lord bless.

  7. He’s an everlasting God! Aren’t you glad there is no changing in Him? He is the same today, yesterday and tomorrow..glory to God…oh before I forget thanks for rejoicing with my neighbor when she invited Jesus into her heart…
