“Then the people of the land tried to discourage the people of Judah. They troubled them in building, and hired counselors against them to frustrate their purpose all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius kind of Persia.” Ezra 4: 4-5
Efforts to build in Jerusalem and to remove temple artifacts are still being troubled and discouraged.
Lord, we thank You that Your desires and plans for us will be fulfilled despite the set backs and frustrations that come against us. And here’s a simple poem . . .
Aware
We can have doubts
about what we’re doing
when trouble and frustration
begins to come
but God is aware
of all that’s happening
and will never be
shut down or out done.
Oh Sis Deb–I’m so thankful that God will never be shut down or out done. His promises are SURE! Praying a blessing over you and Aubie, and everyone at Saturday church–love, your sis Caddo
There will always be opposition to the work of Christ… the key is to learn to face them trusting the Lord, unsing patience and recognizing the importance of the goal that is set before us.
Thanks Deb for the reminder!
that spoke to me, thank you
Good morning my dear friend, what a word, what a word this is a blessing to me! God has us on the same page for sure,”Encouragement” gives our faith that needed “boost”! Especially when we feel like giving up,my mind is on my niece that had the stroke, every time she thinks she’s going home something else happens. Do continue praying for her. That poem is “popping” for sure I love it!! and you 😀 😀

Graham Cooke in his book “Permission Granted” wrote that he loved frustrated believers. His reason was that frustrated believers have two choices: stay frustrated or do something to change the circumstances.
I believe it’s this second type of believers who as God’s ambassadors then help God to:
… never be
shut down or out done…
Have a great Saturday.
It\’s so easy to let frustration take over in our lives, the key is how to not let it and we know it is through Jesus but we don\’t always listen to Him all the time, do we sis? But what I have learned is when I don\’t get that frustration taken care of it causes me pain, I begin to worry and doubt..and we know both of those come from the enemy…Great post just wanted to share a bit of me in your blog today.
Thank you, Dearest Deb.
“Lord, we thank You that Your desires and plans for us will be fulfilled despite the set backs and frustrations that come against us. ”
Amen. Praying this powerful prayer alongside you. (For some reason, Jeremiah 29:11 jumped right out at me the minute I read your prayer. 🙂 )
Wonderful piece. I am so very thankful that :
“God is aware
of all that’s happening
and will never be
shut down or out done.”
How great is our God!
Blessings,
ann
Amen! Thank you Debbie. Thank you for bringing scripture to us and always in such a positive way.
Love you, Sis Caddo, who is powered by Jesus and adopted into the no quittin’ in her gang! 🙂 God bless you as you count on Him to get the job done!
“Recognizing the importance of the goal that is set before us.” That really blessed me, Pastor Rob. . .to remember not to get sidetracked by the opposition, to keep Jesus and what He’s said in my sight. God bless you as you trust Him for it all today!
God bless you and uphold you through all the frustrations and trouble of your days. He is with you and will accomplish what He has planned and promised! love and prayers!
Praying with you now, for your dear niece and the set backs she keeps facing. Asking Him to flatten the opposition and make a way for her! I loved your post today too, precious Pat and how God had us working together! He’s good at that! God bless you and keep encouraging you each day! love and prayers!
Thanks for sharing me on your blog, precious Pat!
I so appreciate your insights and experiences , Mr. Larry! 🙂 Thinking now about Him loving frustrated believers . . . and that my frustration may not be such a bad thing after all! 😉
God bless you as you serve as His ambassador today!
Thank you for showing us that , dear Desiray! That is a blessing to know, that we need to take that frustration to Him and listen to what He says . . so that it doesn’t get to be a problem and painful area in our live, but instead something that He can work in for His glory. God bless you and thanks again for sharing!!! 🙂
You have me praising our great God, dear Ann full of grace and song, excited that frustration and trouble doesn’t bother Him in the least! I love praying with you through these verses! God bless you and all the plans that He is accomplishing and will yet do in your sweet life!
I’m so glad that this spoke something positive to you! We need that! God bless you even through the hard frustrating stuff. I know you aren’t about to give up easily!!
An awesome reminder that He is bigger and more powerful than all our plans. Thanks again Deb!
thank you Debbie, so much
Thank you Deb. I have been wondering about my ministry here, on my own blog and on Christian Blessings. I have felt ‘down’ because a friend here, who believes that as a Christian she CANNOT sin, turned on me when I politely disagreed with her. Her anger and animosity proved a point, but that isn’t the point.
“We can have doubts about what we’re doing when trouble and frustration begins to come” . . . Yes indeed!
“but God is aware of all that’s happening and will never be shut down or out done” . . . Yes indeed!
So thank you, Deb, for speaking to me words of wisdom. You are an answer to prayer. I know our amazing God will continue to bless you and use you to bless others.
What an amazing God!
And we are so glad of that!! 🙂 God bless you, Ali, as He is your everything even when everything seems like it’s going wrong.
Dearest Mentor Angela . .. My heart was crying out for you as I saw what was happening. And I am so encouraged with you that He finds a way to assure you of what you are doing for Him. You DO have a precious ministry and it is powerful. Praying for healing from this trouble and discouragement and more and more opportunities to tell the world all about your amazing God! 🙂 love and prayers!
Thank you Deb.
Thank you, yes!! My everything, always, through it all. God bless you!
“we thank You that Your desires and plans for us will be fulfilled despite the set backs and frustrations that come against us.”
Yes, sweet friend – thankfully this is so true – sometimes even in spite of ME! 😉
You have me smiling, Gracious FF! ( and so good to see you . ..I owe you an update!) Yep, I bet I’m way more frustrating than the stuff I think is frustrating. haha! God bless you and keep you and yours safe amidst the trouble, and assured of His great love and plan! love you and am thinking of you!
