“Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord; the God of David your father; “I have heard your prayers, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you.  On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD.” ‘ ”  2 Kings 20:5

Surely we shall all be healed.

Lord, please encourage all those who pray for healing today, that You see their tears and hear their prayers.  And here is a simple poem . . .

Seen and Heard

Oh loved ones
He knows how hard this is

sees your tears, hears your prayers
for you are surely His

and as eternal beings
this is not all there is

you will be healed and whole
forever and always in Him.

  2. Thank you! It seems healing begins with being sure! Many times a healing we did not expect but a healing of the heart for sure!

  3. Debbie,

We all need some type of healing everyday. Whether it be physical, spiritual, or emotional. Thank the Lord, He is always ready to accompany us, comfort us and supply the needed grace to supply our every need.

    Lord bless

  4. Awesome post of healing, Debbie! Much needed by all!
    God Bless You!

  5. Thank you, dearest Deb

    ” and as eternal beings
this is not all there is”

I wanted God to heal my geabmda so she could be with us a while longer. His healing was to remove pain forever as He gathered her in His arms. Each year without her is a painful journey, but I look forward to seeing her running again!

God bless you, angel-messenger. Surely you brought this straight from Him for me today!

  6. Jesus still heals people today, not because of our experiences, but rather, because the Word states: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)

    Thanks for the encouraging words.

  7. Oh Sis, this is weepy good church today! Wonderful simple poem of gentle loving comfort and His firm assurance! God bless all, abundantly–love, sis Caddo

  13. Okay Ann full of grace . . .I’m crying now. My heart hurts with yours as you miss her and have to go on without her here. Rejoicing with you that surely she is healed and full of joy worshiping her Jesus.God bless you, precious one of His, who is surely His beloved!

  14. Well, Mr. Who, I think your words are even more encouraging! 🙂 Thank you. I was concerned that this would sound like He doesn’t heal now . . .but you shared His word perfectly and cleared that right up! God bless you as He keeps working through you!

  15. Oh sweet Caddo Delight . . .knowing a little about your day today, and the beautiful poem you wrote, God must have arranged this to accompany yours. 🙂 God bless you and hug you for me! love and prayers!

  16. Oh Pastor J . . .Praying with you. It takes a special heart – like yours – to be able to share with others and encourage those on the long hard roads, who are suffering and in pain. God bless you as you minister to others and see His healing upon them.

  17. Thank you for sharing such beautiful words of hope and being a light to many! blessings!

  18. “Surely we shall all be healed.” That’s what I need tonight, so I’m stickin’ to it. I love the way you bring the Bible to life. Thanks… : )

  19. Yep, He’s pretty good at that “special arrangement” stuff–and He knows we’re a terrific team!! Love you, Sis!

  24. Timely as always Debbie. I lost a friend last night – released after a horrible illness but I saw amazing healing in him in the last year.

  25. I couldn’t help thinking of one of my favourite verses:
“The eternal God is your Refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms” Deut 33:27

    What safety, security and certainty!
    What an amazing God!

  26. God bless you, Tammy, and cover you as you grieve the lost of your friend. Thank you for sharing how you saw amazing healing in him during the last year. love and prayers, dear lady of His.

  27. That Deut. verse is a beauty, Mentor Angela . . .no wonder it’s a favorite! God bless you as you trust Him with everything today!
    love and prayers!

  28. Deb – Like our dear friend, Ann, this took me to the bed side of one I loved so much for whom healing meant ‘going home’.
There was no doubt as she passed from my arms to His.
    Much love to you,

  29. Dear gracious one . . .I’m so glad you are here and can share that. Especially that there was no doubt. Thank you. This was a harder one for me to hit the “publish” button on. So much that I don’t know and understand . . .I so don’t want to hurt anyone with these simple writings. God bless you and thank you for your love and encouragement and prayers! Asking Him to send you lots of hugs and love notes today!

  30. Thanks Debbie, yes God promises to heal us maybe today, tomorrow or in eternity… the key is to keep on hoping, keep on holding and keep on believing that He is able and a rewarder of those who know that He is God. Hard lessons for me to learn on this journey. xxx

  31. God bless you, sweet vessel of His and thank you for believing He is able to do all things. Your faith strengthens us! love and prayers!

  32. What became of Danielle?

I read about her use of alternative medicine to treat her cancer a while back, but now her blog is gone. Did she recover? What happened?

  33. Sorry Matthew, but I didn’t know Danielle! Hope you find out what has happened soon! God bless you!
