All The Fullness

“. . .that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man,

that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love,

may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height –

to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”  Ephesians  3:16-19

What a prayer Paul left for us to pray for one another and ourselves!

Thank You, Lord, for being and doing  more than we could ever imagine.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Through His Spirit

You are incomprehensible
yet still find a way

to make Yourself known to us
each and everyday

loving to inhabit
our worship and praise

strengthening us by Your Spirit
as we come to You and pray.

  1. Absolutely beautiful!

  2. Yes Lord need your strength today.. very encouraging .. Loved the poem.. Blessings Bro Pat.

  3. ‘Love’ that verse. After years of hearing that God loves – yet somehow feeling as if I had to be perfect to qualify for it – I can appreciate finally comprehending that He does and can understand why Paul prayed that his readers could comprehend it. It’s a game changer I think.

  4. I love that prayer and have prayed it often for others and myself. Like Mike said, “It’s a game changer.”

  5. This is so lovely, Sis! And yes, it is amazing that He can be both “incomprehensible” yet make Himself known to us, as we seek Him–how wonderful He is!! God bless you with increased heart understanding/vision/hearing of how great His love is for You today!! (And I love you bunches too!)

  6. “You are incomprehensible
    yet still find a way

to make Yourself known to us
    each and everyday”

    Loved this.

  7. “Incomprehensible” – so true.
He is soooooooo far beyond our understanding, and yet He has made Himself known to us and we experience the REALITY of His being, not as some far off deity, but as a perfect, loving Father whose desire is towards us as individual sons and daughters. He never leaves us but is our constant Companion, Guide, Teacher, Encourager, Challenger, Enabler . . . everything we need or ever will need.

    What an amazing God!

  8. PS I couldn’t leave without commenting on “that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”
The Amplified puts this: “filled through all your being with the richest measure of the Divine Presence and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself”

    What an incredible thought!
    What a challenge!
    What an amazing God!

  9. This is beautiful, Deb

I echo Buddha, Caddo Veil and Angela. That “incomprehensible” thought jumped at me too. And yet there are those who believe that He is not who He says He is…

May we lift Him high in all we say and do. The world needs to see the Light.

Wonderful poem, passage and comments. Thanks all.

  10. God bless you, our wonderful woman of the Word, and fill you up with Him! love and prayers!

  11. God bless you, Bro Pat, and strengthen you in His Spirit today! 🙂

  12. I love that, Mike . ..that it’s a game changer! I agree! You can feel Paul so wanting us to understand that, to grasp it.
God bless you and yours and the guys!

  13. What a great prayer! Ephesians is just packed full of goodness. God bless you Larry, as you live in His fullness today!

  14. Thank you so much Sis Caddo Delight, for your prayers and love! Praying this for you too! God bless you and fill you with His Spirit and strength! love and prayers!

  15. God bless you, poet friend, and fill you with His fullness. 🙂

  16. Oh Mentor Angela . . your first comment was like a worship session. Then you coming back with the amplified version really, really did it for me. Now I am captured by being flooded with God Himself. 🙂 God bless you, and all that He pours into you that just keeps coming back out like a flood of His love and Word!
    love and prayers!

  17. Thank you so much for being here, Ann full of Jesus grace, and for being who you are in Him, blessed with His fullness, strengthened in His Spirit, understanding of His love! God bless you and keep you, as He floods you day by day! love and prayers!

  18. Dearest Deb, This is one of my favorite passages in Ephesians! I love all of Paul’s prayers, but this one is special. And I love your poem. It flows beautifully and comes straight from the heart of Christ. Peace, Linda

  19. Oh Linda, I agree . ..this one of Paul’s prayers is so special. It just jumps out to us, how passionate he was for Jesus and for those who he prayed for. God bless you and your heart and passion for Jesus! love and prayers!

  20. Yes, we must “come to Him”
Although He is always there, we must seek…knock…ask.
It takes a special effort of our will, but Oh!, the amazing blessings once we “come to Him.”
Bee blessings and prayers buzzing back your way,
    with Love!!

  21. I love my Bee blessings! Thank you and God bless you as you come to Him and He fills you up! love you!
