Sons Through Faith

“For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.”  Galatians 3:26

Being sons and daughters of God denotes a valued and close relationship.

Lord,  may we live out our lives as Your children, much loved and delighted in.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Living As Beloved

Lord let us live out
this wonderful truth

that we are beloved
and treasured by You

that Your heart has room for
more to be as we are

Your arms stretching out
both near to us and far.

  1. “…that we are beloved
    and treasured by You…”

This is a truth we Christians need to live out and show the world around us each day of our lives. After all, we are royal sons and daughters of the omnipotent King who chose us to be a part of His family.

  2. Thank you, Larry, for capturing that so well! 🙂 Sometimes it seems so much time must be spent convincing us that we are truly loved.
God bless you as you live as one of His kids today!

  3. This is such an excellent reminder word! It is our defense against the enemy’s first line of attack–if he can make us “forget” Whose we are, then it’s easy for him to get us down and run over us! Here’s a tip: we can be like little children and “make up” songs to sing all day about who we are in Him, who HE Says We Are! (Take that! devil–whack, whack!!) May He love on all of you, and give you HIS peace today! CV

  4. I love that it is through simple faith in Jesus, not our works, not our efforts that makes us His. ALso love your poem – may we live out this wonderful, amazing love! Bless you x

  5. “arms stretching out”…Now that kind of imagery soothes my tired mind. 🙂

  6. Thank you Aimee, for putting more here about the faith part . . .that is how we become sons and daughters. I love how you live out His love! 🙂 God bless you, sweet woman, and the way you minister to us!

  7. God bless you, wonderful woman of the Word, as He holds you and gives you, his daughter, rest! love and prayers!

  8. Yes, Sis Caddo Delight . . .that is a great point about it being our first line of defense. We are His, forgiven and free! God bless you as you sing and take joy in Him today! love you!

  9. Ohhh.

    Thanks, Deb 🙂

    “…beloved and treasured…”
I could get used to this 😉

    Thanks for the reminder!

  10. Oh yes you are beloved and treasured, sweet Ann full of Jesus grace, joy and song! I can hear Him singing over you . . .and I think He has a tamborine too! 🙂
God bless you and remind you often just how important you are to Him! love and prayers!

  11. Wonderful reminder Debbie … may we understand our value and worth to our Father who loves us beyond our comprehension.

  12. Thank you, Rachel, for your special ministry that reaches out to us to all know God on a deep personal level and the truth of His word . . .and who we are in Him. 🙂 God bless you with His amazing love today!

  13. My darling Deb,
Your poem reminds me of a dream I had when I was a “baby” Christian: I was climbing an impossibly high cliff in an attempt to get away from huge crashing waves about to engulf me–suddenly I felt arms surround me, lifting me from the dangerous waters. I knew it was our Lord’s arms protecting me. Thanks for the wonderful reminder!
    Love from your Bee 🙂

  14. Oh beautiful Bee . . .what an awesome dream! Thank you for sharing it here. You have such a special testimony and relationship with Him. You inspire me.
God bless you Bee as He holds and protects you today!
    love you!
