Living As Beloved
Lord let us live out
this wonderful truth
that we are beloved
and treasured by You
that Your heart has room for
more to be as we are
Your arms stretching out
both near to us and far.

This is a truth we Christians need to live out and show the world around us each day of our lives. After all, we are royal sons and daughters of the omnipotent King who chose us to be a part of His family.
Thank you, Larry, for capturing that so well! 🙂 Sometimes it seems so much time must be spent convincing us that we are truly loved.

This is such an excellent reminder word! It is our defense against the enemy’s first line of attack–if he can make us “forget” Whose we are, then it’s easy for him to get us down and run over us! Here’s a tip: we can be like little children and “make up” songs to sing all day about who we are in Him, who HE Says We Are! (Take that! devil–whack, whack!!) May He love on all of you, and give you HIS peace today! CV

Your poem reminds me of a dream I had when I was a “baby” Christian: I was climbing an impossibly high cliff in an attempt to get away from huge crashing waves about to engulf me–suddenly I felt arms surround me, lifting me from the dangerous waters. I knew it was our Lord’s arms protecting me. Thanks for the wonderful reminder!
