“Then the princes of the Philistines said, “What are these Hebrews doing here?” 1 Samuel 29:3
David had escaped Saul by going into Philistine. When the Philistine army gathered, David had gone forward to fight against Israel too.
Lord, you know the places we are in and the corners we get backed into. We desire to stay true to You and trust You for a way out. And here’s a simple poem . . .
God’s Good Will
Forced into a situation
that puts us contrary to You
how do we move forward
and still stay true?
Those are the exact moments
Your miracles shine through
making a way and assuring us
of Your good will and pleasure too.
No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
I Corinthians 10:13
I have not always taken it but it was always there, miraculously.
thanks Debbie!!
Thank you, hero, for adding that verse. Yes! Sometimes the way out lies simply in me keeping quiet. Oh the miracle of me keeping my mouth closed!
God bless you and all the ways He gives you to glorify Him today. 🙂
Thank you, Deb

“Forced into a situation
that puts us contrary to You…”
Somehow, in the midst of these situations, we always seem to forget that God loves to put us into His wine press situations. It’s His way of bringing forth new wine in us.
Ann full of Jesus grace, joy and song . . .what a perfect song. 🙂 And I didn’t even think about how it might apply to you and the place you are in. More God grace.
God bless you, sweet one, as He leads you out and on today!
