No Partiality

“For there is no partiality with God.” Romans 2:11

What good news for those who thought they never stood a chance with Him.

Lord, we desire to forgo all that we are partial to, so we can be more like You. And here’s a simple poem . . .

An Equal Shot

Steeped in tradition
religious to the teeth

Paul says God
isn’t partial to these

so whoever can bow down
in sincerity

has an equal shot at
life eternally.

  1. Thank you, Deb

John3:16 …Open to whomsoever! Anyone and everyone willing to accept Him.

“What good news for those who thought they never stood a chance with Him”
    How cool is that?!

“Lord, we desire to forgo all that we are partial to, so we can be more like You.”

  2. this is one of those things that you hear and read again and again BUT it sounds better everytime !!

thanks for a fresh spin on grace!

  3. β€œFor there is no partiality with God.” Romans 2:11

Thank God, He’s not partial about our salvation.

The Greek word for “salvation” actually means more than just eternal salvation as it also includes healing, finances, relationships and more. Everything that we need to walk in victory for our lives is included in the word “salvation.”

  4. So good Deb… Being impartial though is so hard. May God give us grace!

  5. πŸ™‚

    Peace my friend,

  6. It is just as well that God is impartial because if His action was dependent on our goodness or suitability, NONE of us would make it!
    What an amazing God!

  7. Sweet Ann full of grace . . .God bless you as you go today, covered in His love, impartial to no one but Him. πŸ™‚

  8. πŸ™‚ Thank you, dear hero! You made my day. Romans is everyone’s favorite book and it is packed full of so much of what we’ve learned and know. . .and I just don’t know what else to say sometimes!
God bless you as you dance in His grace!

  9. Thank you, Larry, for your great comment! πŸ™‚ Yep . . .partially saved wouldn’t work, would it? And I loved learning about salvation meaning eternally and everything for today too.
God bless you as you walk in Him today!

  10. Probably the more I think about this, the harder it will show itself to be. Praying with you for His grace to change me! God bless you, Pastor J!

  11. Hi Mrs. Elizabeth! πŸ™‚ God bless you and your big open heart that is so partial to helping everyone. Will stop by and see how you are doing! love and prayers!

  12. Well, that explains it pretty much, doesn’t it? ha! He’s not partial because NO ONE would make it. I love your comments Angela!
And your “what an amazing God!” God bless you as you rest in His love and goodness today!

  13. Deb, This is awesome news! I love your poem. If anyone would know about God not caring about pedigree it’s Paul. A Pharisee himself he had quite the pedigree, but even with his record of percecuting Christians God was willing to accept him when he fell to his knees in awe of Jesus. Peace, Linda

  14. Thank you, Linda, for sharing about Paul. That adds even another layer to it, doesn’t it? He once was sure that God was indeed partial . . .then he finds out He’s not.
God bless you as you show God’s love to whoever He brings you today!

  15. Linda,

    Wonderful comment! πŸ™‚

  16. I’m so glad that God is no respecter of persons! “But in every nation he that feareth Him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Him.” Thank you Jesus!

God bless you Debbie, as you continue to bless us!

  17. This is humbling — I have an equal shot… I am glad that this is made clear because if not, we might be very busy checking who get to enter heaven first πŸ™‚

  18. Thank you, precious Paulette for that reminder . . .He is no respecter of persons. πŸ™‚ He is a lover of souls!
God bless you and all the ways that you show His impartial love to others!

  19. I can see that happening! πŸ™‚ Now we can enter in, arm in arm, hand in hand. God bless you, our sweet and beautifully humble spoon!
