In Him

“. . .for in Him we live and move and have our being . . .” Acts 17:28

Without Him we would not “be”.

Lord, I desire to live and move and be, more and more, in You. And here’s a simple poem . . .

I live and move
I breathe, I am
because of You
the Son of Man.

You came and gave
You made, You are
my everything
my Morning Star.

  1. I am because of I AM. In Him, by Him, through Him.

  2. Jesus is the air I breathe. He is the song I sing. He is my absolutely everything! Without Him, we would not be anything!

I enjoyed your poem, Debbie. It’s quite humbling! Thank you for sharing, and have a wonderful day! May God bless you!

  3. This is one of my favorite Bible verses. I love the poem. That my living, moving and being may be according to His will. That is the desire of my heart this very moment. Thank you, Deb.

  4. Amen.

  5. I enjoyed the rhythm of the poem and I love its pulse — Him! πŸ™‚

  6. Deb, Awesome poem! Jesus is my everything, too! Without Him I can do nothing and am nothing. πŸ™‚ Peace, Linda

  7. I love that Ted! You have a wonderful insight and relationship with Jesus and it shows! God bless you and thanks!

  8. Your comments are like songs for your King! I can definitely tell He is moving and living in you, Paulette! God bless you and all He is in you today!

  9. I love that desire of your heart. So beautiful and real and now I am praying for that too. God bless you, dear woman of the Word, and thank you for encouraging me to desire more and more of Him.
    love you!

  10. Thank you for your support and Amen! God bless you as you move with Him today!

  11. God bless you, sweet Rea Son Shine, as you thrive in Him!

  12. Linda, I love your enthusiasm and sold out attitude toward Jesus! You help keep me moving for Him and in Him!
God bless you and all He is to you!

  13. Makes me remember that I am small, and He is everything. Thanks for the reminder! Hugs…

  14. Thank you, Deb

Without Him, I am nothing. With Him, I am endless possibilities. Praying He will use what I am and have for His glory … after all, I am nothing without Him!

  15. I like that, Linda . . .and I like being small in His hand! God bless you as He holds you and is your everything today! love you!

  16. I love this, Ann full of grace . . .being an endless possibility. πŸ™‚ Thank you! You totally made my night tonight. See . . .He is using you already!
God bless you and all that He is doing through you!

  17. I love Acts 17:28. The first time I read this Scripture was soon after I became a Christian, when my friend (who became my husband) gave me a book and included this verse in the inscription.

The concept of that verse blew me away – such a relationship! And now, 50+ years later, while it still blows me away, I testify to the REALITY of the experience.

    What an amazing God!
    What an amazing Saviour!

  18. Angela . . .you are such a wonderful testimony to His amazing love and word! Thank you for sharing about your first time reading this verse and the reality of living it.
God bless you and your love affair with your Savior!

  19. Oh Deb! if I sent Jesus a valentine card, i would want it to say exactly what you said here! your words are so perfect for expressing this!!! Thank you for bringing me back to Center! Thank you for spreading His fragrance!

  20. Angel A, thank you for being so in love with Jesus, for trusting Him under crushing circumstances. Because of all of this, you, sweet one, strengthen us with a tried a true faith!
God bless you and send you a valentine today reminding you how much He loves you!
    love and prayers!
