“And you shall write very plainly on the stones all the words of this law.” Deuteronomy 27:8
God didn’t go for fine print or obscure text.
Father, thank You for writing Your law of love so plainly on our hearts through Jesus Christ Your Son. And here’s a simple poem . . .
All The Word
The law and the prophets were written
and Jesus fulfilled them all
like the handwriting appearing
upon the proverbial wall
God didn’t keep the Word hidden
but sent Him throughout the land
traveling in all the region
still seen in the hearts of man.
Thank you, Deb
God be praised!
Praying alongside you.
Sometimes the writing on the wall reads tough love but His plans for us are still good!
Blessings,
ann
Thank you Deb. This is a great poem. I am so thankful that the Lord hides the word in our hearts and moves people to share it.
Love,
Theresa
Amen, Ann full of grace! I love that God never planned for any of this to be hidden or hard for us to read. 🙂 God bless you and the blessing that you are!
God bless you, dear woman of the Word! He is written plainly all over you and your life. 🙂 love you and am thinking of you!
Deb, I’m so glad that the Words He has written for us and on our hearts are no longer the dyer prophecy of ruin that were written on the wall for Belshazzer in Daniel, and that we don’t need Daniel to interpret what He has written. Another great poem. (Though now I’m going to be hearing “Mene, Mene, Tekel, Parsin” in my head for the rest of the day. 😉 ). Peace, Linda
Me too Linda! . . .and sorry about that other part. 😉 God bless you and all the ways He shows Himself in you!
“…still seen in the hearts of man”
Oh, how lovely your prose!
I love knowing that God looks in my heart; no one can see what God sees, and that is comforting when I am alone. It is as if I hear him say “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
You are a blessing, Miss Deb…thanks for setting my heart on God this morning! Bless you 🙂
I’m smiling again! You just do that to me. Thank you. 🙂 I love what you are thinking here, about God seeing His writing on our hearts, things that no one can see but Him. That is a wonderful thing. We are plainly visible to our Lord and that is a good thing. God bless you and your heart that is set on Him!
