Made Better

“That very day Pilate and Herod became friends with each other, for before that they had been at enmity with each other.” Luke 23:12

These two enemies becoming friends after seeing Jesus has me thinking that every single person who encounters Him, even in a small way, is made better.

Oh Jesus, may we let You brush up against someone through us today. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Encounters of the Jesus Kind

Brush up against Him
and you won’t be the same

take a little look
and be forever changed

full out believe Him
and be torn apart

as He rents the veil from your eyes
and plunges truth into your heart.
