Inheritance Keepers

“So the inheritance of the children of Israel shall not change hands from tribe to tribe, for everyone of the children of Israel shall keep the inheritance of the tribe of the fathers.” Numbers 36:7

Those leaving behind an inheritance must be concerned about it going into the right hands and being handled rightly.

Thank You, Father, for the inheritance we all receive through Jesus Christ Your Son. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Given By God

There’s an inheritance
I received from my Father

a place of peace and rest
when I believed

but I cannot give
it to another

each child must come
individually.

This is the last post from Numbers. Thank you so much for helping and supporting me through it all! Tomorrow we’re headed back to the New Testament for the Gospel According to Luke.

  1. Deb, It is wonderful that the inheritance is available for all, but each person must claim it for themselves. Thanks for taking us through Numbers and pointing us to Jesus along the way. I’m looking forward to Luke!! Peace, Linda

  2. Sometimes I wish we could leave it or give it to someone else! But God knows best.
I’m always a little sad leaving one book behind and starting another always makes me a little nervous. ha! But, He is so faithful! God bless you for your support and help, for your knowledge and insight! He and I know that I need you!

  3. Deb’ this was a great post. Your comment really moved me. Boy do I understand. I wish I could make my lost loved ones partake of the bread of life…but there is always hope. I can pray, and “somewhat” rest in the knowledge that love cares more than I care…but I can pray that the Lord will cause me to rest (make me lie down in those green pastures of rest). 🙂

I can’t wait to read what you get from Luke…I have a feeling. 😉

    Love,
    Theresa

  4. oops. I meant to say “God” cares more. Could it be that my typo is evidence that The Lord is helping me to understand how loving and understanding He is?

“And can it be that I should gain an interest in the Savior’s love?”

The past two days have been happy ones. 🙂

  5. Thanks, Deb

  8. I like-y that inheritance too! Even when I should get nothing, because of Him, I get it all . . .and so does everyone else. 🙂 God bless you and your heart that yearns for Him and more of Him.
