None Missing

“Then the officers who were over thousands of the army, the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, came near to Moses;
and they said to Moses, ‘Your servants have taken a count of the men of war who are under our command, and not a man of us is missing.'” Numbers 31:48-49

Some day we’ll be saying the same thing, as we gather in heaven.

Thank You Lord, for keeping us forever in Your care, watching over us and not allowing any to be snatched away. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Worth It

The day’s been tough
the hour long
the struggles more
like war,
what a comfort
to look around
and see all here
and worth fighting for.

  1. Great post! What a day that will be.

    Love,
    Theresa

  2. Amen!

Great to know nothing can ‘snatch us out of His hands’!

Thank you, Deb. The joys will be worth all we’ve been through.

    Blessings,
    ann

  3. Oh yes! ( As long as you are doing the singing!) 😉 God bless you and hold you close to His love today!

  4. You are so right! I’ve been seeking out and writing down joys ( as per Ann Voskamp’s “one thousand gifts” book). On the tough days, when the battles have raged, you helped me remember they are still there. God bless you Ann, full of grace and cover you with joy!

  5. Deb, Won’t it be wonderful to report to the Commander in Chief that we are all there, that not one of us is missing? But He will already know! Peace, Linda

  6. He will know! But, somehow I see Him smiling and nodding and letting us report that anyway, 🙂 God bless you and yours and your place in Him!

  7. This poem speaks to me. Thankful that in the midst of the battle I’m always in good hands.
    🙂

  8. Oh yes you are! So thankful for you and for us all being together in this life here and for eternity! God bless you and speak love to your heart each day!

  9. My favorite poem so far, because I can feel His power behind every word. And I like that none of us are in it alone. Thank you…

  10. Thank you, Linda. So thankful to have you here and in the battles with me/us. God bless you and continue to fill you with His power and grace!

  11. We are not alone. We are never alone, even when we feel it the most. He gives us space to find the path we need to take, without pressure. Just the coolest God I know!

Glad to hear you and I are sisters in age and we have probably crossed paths many times…for a reason…his reason…

    🙂

  12. I love that E . . .just the coolest God! Isn’t He that and more? 🙂 Love Him . . .love you! God bless you and the path He has you on!
