Filled With His Glory

“Then the Lord said, ‘I have pardoned, according to your word; but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the Lord. . .’ ” Numbers 14:20-21

I can mess up, make bad choices, even disobey but it will not, cannot, keep God’s glory from being displayed.

Oh Lord, please teach me to humbly submit so I can walk and work with You as You accomplish Your desire upon this earth. And here’s a simple poem . . .

Truly It Will Be Done

God loves us
and desires our good

giving us the choice
if we would

choose to submit
and walk in His will

but either way
His good gets done still.

  1. “I can mess up, make bad choices, even disobey but it will not, cannot, keep God’s glory from being displayed.”

It’s a good thing too. If it depended on me not messing up, there would be problems. Blessings Deb!

  2. What a way to start the day. I may have to borrow your phrase “either way” and use it for a title of one of my poems. And now your poem led me to remember yesterday’s entry in *Jesus Calling*, which ends: “Rejoice in the relief of being fully understood. Talk with me about your struggles and feelings of inadequacy. Little by little, I will transform your weaknesses into strengths. Remember that your relationship with Me is saturated in grace. Therefore, nothing that you do or don’t do can separate you from My Presence.”

I just had to type all that out…to get even closer to that promise. You know what I mean.

    Geoff…now off to Sat. 7 a.m. Men’s Prayer

  3. haha! Oh yes! Such a good thing that He has this all figured out and it’s not contingent on me getting everything right! 😉 God bless you and all the good choices you make each day!

  4. Thank you for typing all of that out! 🙂 I read another excerpt from that book and thought it sounded like something I could use. Now I’m even more sure. God bless you and your prayers this day!

  5. Thanks Deb

    Choosing to submit, (regardless)

  6. God bless you Ann, and all that you submit to Him!

  7. This truly is a wonderful post!

  8. Thank you, dear Theresa. Sometimes when I feel like I am or have really messed up, I’m elevating myself too much. Yes, I did and do, but God is much bigger than my mistakes and misinterpretations. I’ll keep asking for forgiveness and guidance and looking at His glory that fills the earth! God bless you and all the thoughts of Him you ponder!
