Made Well

“And as many as touched Him were made well.” Mark 6:56

I read this and realized that I often pray for Jesus to touch people. . .but not so much for them to touch Him.

Oh Lord, may we come often and many to touch You and Your heart today. And here’s a simple poem. . .

Touching God

You touch me constantly
throughout the day

a word, a song
a glimpse of nature

and I am healed
of all contrary thoughts

and allowed to
reach out

and touch You with
a prayer.

  1. A simple poem…nope. A precious and profound glimpse! Thank you. 🙂

  2. Thanks, Deb.

I so need a touch from Him today! ( O that I would touch Him too)

  3. Thank you for always touching us with Him. You are precious and profound! 🙂

  4. Praying for you, Ann, to be touched and to touch. (I know you touch His heart, just as you touch mine!)

  5. Always a new way to see things. Always a “not so simple” simple poem. I’m reaching today. The sites crashed, the Ramen overflowed, sick – doesn’t matter – doesn’t matter – reaching for him – Today is good. And better even now.

    God Bless

  6. Oh so sorry to hear about your day, but so blessed that He is right there with you, able to be touched. Praying for you!

  7. And isn’t it true
that when you touch lives like mine
    you’re touching God?
When you inspire a lost sheep back to Him
isn’t it that you touch Him again?
When others see God in you and praise Him
isn’t it that you touch Him again and again?
Baa baa dirty white sheep here!

  8. Oh I love how you saw this! Can this dirty white sheep come along with you to touch God? 🙂 love you!

  9. This is beautiful, Deb, simply beautiful … thank you for these words.

  10. You are so welcome! Thank you for encouraging me to keep going at this “poem thing”! Your kindness touches me and Jesus too! 🙂

  11. […] believe it all started when I read this:, and then I wrote an entry at my blog and they both made comments that sparked my memory. Here are […]
