Who’s The Greatest?

“Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”  Matthew 18:4

Little children are humble in how they trust and believe, not ashamed to ask questions and learn from others . . .completely unassuming.

O Lord, help me  trust and believe more and more in You who are the greatest, instead of desiring to be great myself.  Here’s a simple poem . . .

Kingdom Equations

a little humility > grown-up pride
infant trust > full blown cynicism
child like faith > man sized doubts
the kingdom of heaven > anything we’ve known

Do you have a kingdom equation to add?

  1. Deb the mathematician, you have just blessed me!
    (Blessings/others) + good intentions = more blessings

  2. Thank you so much for sharing that. It was really good. 🙂

  3. I loved your equation. You even did addition with fractions . . .very good! A+ for bendedspoon! 🙂

  4. Thank you for reading and supporting me, for strengthening me in my faith! 🙂

  5. Deb, How about “His Forgiveness > My Sin.” 🙂 Peace, Linda

  6. Oh Linda . . .I loved that one! And love the truth in it! How great to be forgiven and loved by the King! 🙂 Thank you!

  7. “O Lord, help me trust and believe more and more in You who are the greatest, instead of desiring to be great myself.”… this is my cry!

  8. Thank you Manda, for allowing Him to be great in your life, and letting us see that too! 🙂
