Coming Clean

“When they went into the tabernacle of meeting, and when they came near the altar, they washed, as the Lord had commanded Moses.”  Exodus 40:32

Moses, Aaron and his sons washed in the bronze laver before serving God.   Am I coming clean before God each day?

Thank You, Jesus, that my sins can be washed away  as I repent and confess them to You and ask for forgiveness. Here’s a  simple poem . . .

In Moses’ Day

Aaron and his sons
washed in the bronze
laver, but now
the laver is gone

and we each
get to decide
whether or not
to come clean.

  1. It’s makes life harder not to .

  2. Deb,
What a great message, in comparison to physically washing in the laver, we have the opportunity to choose whether to be sanctified in the spirit, and live a life of obedience. This is a very thought provoking message. God Bless

  3. Amen! 🙂

  4. Thanks Jim, for commenting! 🙂 I know He already knows, but still He waits for us to confess, to be truthful with ourselves and Him. God bless you and yours!

  5. What a great thought and comparison! I want to be clean and to stay clean, but I know that the only way to do that is to keep coming to Him and to stay as close to Him as possible. Thanks!

  6. I like that, Ben, to stay as close to Him as possible. Yes. It’s when I wander off that I get into trouble. Thanks for commenting! 🙂
