Global Warming?

“God be merciful to us and bless us,
And cause His face to shine upon us.”  Psalms 67:1

We can communicate in countless ways through the expression on our faces.

Lord, thank You for shining upon us, causing our inner shadows to flee.  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Nothing More Wonderful

When You shine
Your face upon us

our coldest
places melt

and we know
in an instant

there’s nothing
more wonderful
than You.

  7. “…When You shine
    Your face upon us…”

For those of us who have been believers for a while, we remember Graham Kendrick’s great song, “Shine Jesus Shine,” written for the March for Jesus Movement in the late 1980′s and early 1990′s. The chorus began with these great words – “Shine Jesus shine, fill this land with the Father’s glory…”

Great poem. This might me a great day for you and Aub to pitch horseshoes in the park. Ringers count 3 points. Don’t cheat.

    • Now I’m singing that song , Mr. Larry .. .but that’s a good thing! :) Thank you! And God bless you as He shines upon you today!
p.s. we cleaned someone’s house today . ..and then it was raining horses and cows by the time we got done and headed home, so no horseshoes today. Maybe tomorrow! :)

  8. This is wonderful, Sis Deb–and what a “wow” picture to go with your lovely words from Him! God bless you as you serve Him today–love, sis Caddo

  11. I love “causing our inner shadows to flee”! And I agree that “there’s nothing more wonderful than” Him, Debbie. Sometimes I just need to do the next thing and remember this…
