“But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God;
I trust in the mercy of God forever and ever.
I will praise You forever,
Because You have done it;
And in the presence of Your saints,
I will wait on Your name, for it is good.” Psalms 52:8-9
The Lord delights in mercy.
Lord, may we delight in being merciful too. And here’s a simple poem . . .
We can trust in Your mercy
no matter how we feel
for it is ever endless
and our hope You will not steal
creating time after time
opportunities to chose You
all the while learning
to be merciful too.

Beautiful Debbie! I love that His mercy isn’t affected by our feelings and emotions. Great thought about God creating opportunities for us to choose him… all such wonderful thoughts about his mercy. Lovely to ponder!
Thank you for pondering with us! God bless you, sweet Ali, and yours this Christmas and always!
His “ever endless” mercy, what a beautiful thought to end the day on–thanks, Sis Deb, for always bringing us closer to Him. God bless you abundantly, pressed down and pouring over–for fabulous Friday. Merry Christmas–love, sis Caddo Delight

“The Mercy Exchange”
What a great title because it is exactly true. If we want mercy, we ourselves need to be merciful as stated in James 2:13.
So thanks for the encouraging poem. Have a great day.
