Feeding Time

“Trust in the LORD, and do good;
dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.”  Psalms 37:3

I feed on many things, one way or another.

Lord, I desire to feast on Your faithfulness today!  And here’s a simple poem . . .

Faith Feast                                                   index

Oh may we feast
upon Your faithfulness

that is ever so
deep and wide

and watch our trust
in You grow

pushing the doubts

  1. I love this one, Sis Deb! And move over, please–I want to fill my plate at that table! God bless you Big–love, sis Caddo

  2. You are always feeding on His faithfulness and passing us plates of His goodness, Sis Caddo! :) Love you and God bless you on this terrific Tuesday!

  3. Interesting pic Deb. Still trying to figure out if it is a chinese buffet. :) You are edging closer to my favorite verse Ps.37:5. Two in a row about eating. You are making me hungry (for the Word and for Jesus).

  4. This brings to my mind Psa 23: – “He prepareth a table before me in the presence of mine enemies”….. When we feed on His faithfulness, He promises to bless us and no one can stop HIm!

  5. That is some feast but you know what one day we will have a feast just like this and better when we get to heaven and eat with Jesus. Now that is the feast I am waiting for.

  6. this is a work in progress for me daily

  7. Amen – beautiful… Let us feast together at His banqueting table. :)

  8. Amen Deb! What we feed grows!

  9. If you are what you eat, then our feasting on God’s faithfulness should in turn makes us faithful.

    God bless you today.

  10. “Oh may we feast upon Your faithfulness.” is so delicious! He is, indeed, faithful! How can we ever think that anything else would satisfy? I love your poem, Debbie… it would be awesome if you had a devotional published with all your poems, words, & verses included -just like in your blog.
    Blessings ~ Wendy

Great is His faithfulness unto us! Beautiful poem, Encouraging Debbie! May you feast on His faithfulness today, and every day! Love and prayers!

  14. “to fullness”

  26. you are welcome my friend

  27. Praise God! He is faithful! Great post, Deb!
    God Bless you & Aubrey!

  28. You know about His faithfulness, Lady Dei! God bless you and your sweet family!!

  29. I am finding comfort here. The words and the picture work so well together. I tend to make things so much harder than they need to be. Two things came to my mind as I read here.

    1) “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” Psalm 23:5

    2) “Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
    Just from sin and self to cease;
    Just from Jesus simply taking
    Life and rest, and joy and peace.”

  30. I just love what He brings to mind for you and us, woman of the Word! God bless you as you fill up on Jesus and His faithfulness to you! love you!
